After saying a quick Aloha to our resident baby albatross, we went to our favorite breakfast spot in Hanalei, the Wake Up Cafe. After breakfast, we headed to Foodland in Princeville to pick up groceries for the week. When we walked out of the store, the skies had suddenly gotten very dark and it soon started raining. Bummer.
We had had such a crazy few days leading up to this trip that we just decided to kick it at our cool rental house all day and see if the rain would stop. It intermittently rained all day, but we didn't mind. We enjoyed the hot tub, snoozed on the chaises in the living room and did a little tanning between rain drops. All in all a good, relaxing day.
