Today was all about water. On our last full day before our big day, we spent most of our time in or around the water.
We decided to go back to Tunnels and do a little more snorkeling and to give our new underwater digital camera a proper test drive. Check out this cute dude that we caught on film:
After we had a bite of lunch back at our rental house (did we mention how totally awesome it is?), we decided to head to Hanalei Bay and do a little boogie boarding. Because the tide was coming in, the waves were kind of small, so we didn't do too much shredding. But, it was still fun.
We capped off the day before our big day by heading to a new restaurant in Hanalei called Bar Acuda. It's a tapas restaurant owned by the same guy that owns 42 Degrees in SF, so we felt right at home. Apparently, Pierce Brosnan (who owns a home in Haena) is a frequent diner there. We thought the food was quite yummy.
So, we're off to watch Lost (hey, we have to find out if Locke is dead, right?) and then off to bed. We definitely need our beauty rest before you-know-what.
p.s. Greg and Mary, thank you so much for the flowers. They arrived while we were home having lunch and they are lovely. They also smell fantastic! Much mahalo to you both.

Edie
well I figure that you are about 17 hours until that "magical moment" and it has been wondrous reading all you have enjoyed and written about!!!!!
Very pleased that you liked the flowers and we will be thinking of you today as you cross that threshold into an even more joyful life together.
Of course it will after midnight EDST here when that moment arrives but just figure we'll be there in spirit.
with much affection
Mary and Greg
